QUIET ROOMS
These rooms tend to be used for a variety of purposes but in some instances, become the place where the clinical team deliver anxiously awaited results. We use imagery that creates a calm and tranquil environment.
The desperately sad moment when a member of staff has to deliver bad news will be etched in memory for all time and whilst any improvement to decor and surroundings will not alter the outcome, it can at least reduce tensions and anxiety whereas areas cluttered with cupboards and dark, windowless spaces with dreary decoration tend to increase it.

Rooms that afford an opportunity to step away from the general hustle and bustle of a busy hospital ward are rare and often neglected spaces.
