Today was the unveiling of the new Ward 35 at Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital, A collaboration between Teenage Cancer Trust and Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal. This new unit provides facilities for teenagers and young adults who are suffering with cancer and other disabilities.
A total of 11 beds with 2 social spaces and the excellent ‘winter garden’ room will ensure that, whilst no-one really wants to be in hospital, the journey is as good as it possibly can be.
